Our Story

We are a privately owned and operated providing the very best level of care and educational programs to children within our local community. Our team of qualified educator’s endeavour to provide an environment where each and every child, family and the wider community feel a part of the Little Giggles family.

Little Giggles Early Learning Centre provides children with a play-based curriculum centred around each child’s individual interests and emerging development.  Our centre aims to offer the best preschool learning program that reflects components of the Early Years Learning Framework.

The learning environment at Little Giggles is fun, interactive and inviting and includes a range of open-ended experiences such as arts and crafts, music and movement as well as literacy and numeracy experiences. We operate an indoor/outdoor program across all our centres, giving children the choice of being inside or outside and being able to choose the experiences they wish to engage with.

Our approaches

Get to know the distinctive approaches that define our Little Giggles early childhood centres.  Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. We plan our experiences based on each child’s emerging interests and development.

School readiness

We include a school readiness program in our daily curriculum to assist children with the transition into big school. We believe that school readiness starts from the time children join us and we begin teaching them the skills in order for them to be ‘ready’ for school. Our children go off to local schools around Tuggerah Lakes, The Entrance and the Peninsular and we have developed very close working relationships with all these schools.

Reconciliation

We embrace Australia's rich cultural heritage at our early childhood centre to strengthen relationships between our First Nations, non Indigenous and culturally diverse children. We celebrate Indigenous traditions in every child's early learning experience to build respect and understanding.

Inclusion

Our inclusive approach ensures that every child, regardless of background or ability, is embraced, supported, and given the opportunity to flourish in a nurturing educational setting. One of the ways we embed inclusion into our centre is through embracing community events, such as Australia Day, Harmony Day, NAIDOC week, Anzac Day, Christmas, to name a few, along with various other culturally significant days that are valued by our families.

Additional Support

We are proud to support children with disabilities or developmental needs. We welcome a conversation with you and your family to understand how Little Giggles can support your child. We have programs for developmental areas such as Physical (fine and gross motor), Cognitive, Social, Emotional, Language and Sensory development.

Sun safety

Little Giggles early learning centres are certified Sun Smart childcare services. Our centre policies and procedures are underpinned by the Cancer Council’s guidelines towards sun safety. We understand that the sun can cause irreparable damage to children’s skin and so we ensure that each and everyday Sun safe practices are followed.

Safeguarding children

Ensuring the safety and well-being of every child is paramount at our early childhood centre. Aligned with our vision for Australia's children to have the best possible start in life, we nurture a positive foundation for their overall well-being as they embark on a journey of play, learning, and developmental milestones. We empower parents with the peace of mind that their little ones are in the best of care as we educate on topics like stranger danger and provide a secure environment where children feel safe and are actively protected from ill-treatment or harm.
